Mechplus uses hazard identification tools to develop Environmental Hazard Aspect and Impact Registers, which form the basis of environmental management. Impacts are ranked using risk analysis tools (e.g. risk matrix) to rank and prioritize environmental risks and mitigation measures.

Environmental Management Plans (EMPs)
Mechplus develops Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) using Aspect/Impact data on existing and new facilities/ projects. We also monitor EMP compliance to ensure that our clients work within the conditions of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Records of Decision (RoDs).Effluent (Water) Emissions:
Mechplus develops water balances for facilities, designs/ assesses performance of effluent treatment equipment (e.g. API Separators), makes recommendations for managing effluent streams at source, analyses biological studies of ecosystems around effluent diffusers into sensitive environments, and monitors plumes from dredging operations.
Mechplus conducts waste inventories for facilities, develops Waste Management Systems to meet legal & ISO 14001 compliance, and advises clients on Waste Minimization, including use of waste streams as feed material for other processes.
